Sefton’s Dream

Check out this short production from Michael Aubtin Madadi, a talented animator with a flair for evocative, dream-like images and sounds.

Described by its creator as ‘A hurried journey through a dream sequence. An animation made using inks, acetate, and an old SEGA graphic board video game from 1985’, this animation is titled ‘Sefton’s Dream’.

The end result is astounding, and the film provokes a morose and mystifying yet strangely familiar atmosphere. I almost got a sense of deja-vu while watching it, like it triggered some nostalgic emotion in my mind that made me feel like a kid again.
